Gaoyou City Gymnasium

Gaoyou City Gymnasium = Gāoyóu Shì Tǐyùguǎn = 高邮市 体育馆;
Say "Gao-yoh shr Tee-yoo-gwahn"

The Gaoyou Gymnasium or Sports Center is located on the south side of Gaogongqiao Lu across the street and just to the west of the Gaoyou CWI. It was a busy place with young men playing basketball on courts in front of the center. A sporting goods store directly in front of the CWI sells shoes and apparel to the athletes.

The large sign on the building façade reads: 高Gāo, 邮yóu, 市shì = Gaoyou Shi or Gaoyou City 体tǐ, 育yù, 馆guǎn = Tiyuguan = Gymnasium

The post to the right of the gate reads: 高Gāo, 邮yóu, 市shì = Gaoyou Shi or Gaoyou City 体tǐ, 育yù = tiyu = Sports (or physical training); 局jú = Center
