Since there isn't any train or plane service to Gaoyou, busses are often used for long distance travel. Many of the busses are outfitted with bunks so that the traveler can catch up on their sleep on the way to their destination.

The Long Distance Bus Station is located on the east side of the street  at 53 Wenyouzhong Lu, which is about three blocks north of the Run Yang Cun Hotel.
